Over the Top
A friend in the wholesale nursery business who could not join us this year on the annual garden tour, stepped up to the plate and facilitated a visit to Terra Nova Nursery in Oregon. I took so many photos here I think it may be a duo-post; for this one I'll just let the pictures do the talking. Hotcha !
Thank you V ~

ReplyDeleteJaws were dropping right and left Deanne. It was packed in too, nary a piece of bare ground.
DeleteThe colors are incredible! It looks like a fabulous place to visit.
ReplyDeletebeautiful beautiful !!!
ReplyDeleteBeutiful mixed colours-love it! :))
ReplyDeleteWhat fun all that color is!!! All that orange is just great.
ReplyDeleteI have questions already...What is the yellow plant that appears in the first and second shots? At first I thought it was Berberis, but it seems too low for that. Is it a sedum? And what is the green plant in the very center of the second frame?
Looking forward to the next installment for sure!
Marie, the yellow plant is Veronica 'Aztec Gold', and the green plant I'm unsure of ..maybe a Ligularia ?
DeleteOver the top is right! The color in that display garden was absolutely incredible! Thanks to Marlene for getting us the "in".
ReplyDeleteThank you! TN is responsible for some of the coolest plant introductions.
ReplyDeleteIt is all so artfully combined and impeccably planted. Feels like a trip back to the LSD 60s! The green/white combo is almost a calming vignette but I too can't recognize half the items there.... Wow - what an amazingly special treat to tour. Cindy H.
ReplyDeleteI had no clue this garden was going to be like this, so it had the element of surprise going for it as well. And impeccably maintained too.
DeleteI see you've included that calla lily I desperately want...
ReplyDeleteYou will prevail Denise, I'd be willing to bet you got the name.Or did you ?
